In the 1891 census they are living at Whinfell Park Cottage, Whinfell, Brougham with Margaret A. b.1883 James b.1885 John b.1888 1901 census living at Main St Temple Sowerby with Margaret 18 John 13 Edith 9 Mary 5 1911 census Mother Mary is living in Cliburn with 2 grandchildren Ethel Annie b.1902 Edward b.1904 presumably the children of Margaret Father Edward is working as a farm general servant at Castle House Scar Shap both parents state they are married Can't find John on 1911 census. Did he emigrate to Montreal 12 May 1912 on the Grampian from Liverpool- JB aged 24 Labourer or 1911 with some Hodgsons on the Virginian?
